Welcome to Auditory Training
in High Definition!
We introduce to you the first and only auditory training program recorded in High Definition (HD), capturing more musical information and more high frequencies bringing the listening experience very close to live performance. High Definition music imparts a rich, fulfilling listening experience with greater clarity. You will hear exceptionally clear high frequencies (that charge the brain), authentic timbre in low frequencies (to work on the body and sensory issues) and greater spatial details to bring your auditory system into balance.

Sound Therapy Works!!
“My daughter has been using the i-Listen with bone conduction since June of 2007. Before we used it she had little to no eye contact, had focus issues, and had a hard time putting sentences together. Since then she has really made a change for the better. I feel like I have gotten a second chance with her. We have always known that she was smart, she just did not know how to communicate her knowledge. She is doing things I was worried she would never do. (like reading, spelling, doing math problems on her own) We are so thrilled with her progress. Even our friends and family notice a change in her. She actually goes up to people and communicates with them now. This has changed our lives and most importantly it has changed our daughter’s life. Thank you Sound Therapy Systems for making a difference in kids with autism and all developmental delays.”
Sincerely,
Shannon, Oklahoma
How is the Brain Impacted With Auditory Training?
The brain is a dynamic structure that has the natural ability to change itself (brain plasticity). Learning is the process of brain changing. We can use this ability to normalize and improve auditory processing by teaching the brain through the appropriate auditory stimulation provided with the right frequency (how often), intensity (how much) and duration (how long). While it is never too late, the younger we begin stimulating the brain, the better.
Sound therapy is a safe and effective method that gently trains the ear and brain through the systematic delivery of psycho-acoustically modified music. We train the auditory system to accurately process the full spectrum of sound for improved listening, learning, attention and communication.
Who Can Benefit From Auditory Training?
Children with autism, ADD/ADHD, learning disabilities, dyslexia and other developmental delays as well as typically developing children and adults who want to hone their listening, improve their speaking skills, musical ear, sports skills and hand-eye coordination.

How Long is the Auditory Training?
Each iPod and programming has a little bit different listening requirements.
i-Listen (TM):
Given that the brain needs the variables of frequency, intensity and duration to see the greatest benefit from auditory training, our initial program is designed to last either 10 weeks or 20 weeks depending on the amount of time your child listens daily. All it takes with the i-Listen (TM) is either 15 minutes a day or 30 minutes a day (two 15 minute sessions or one 30 minute session), five days a week (2 days off) to devote to re-training your child’s ears to perceive the spectrum of sound better and in doing so, to re-claim their auditory processing and sensory integration capabilities. The program takes the listener from full spectrum through to Auditory Training Zones 1, 2 and 3 (low, mid and high frequencies) and then reverses the order in the second round of listening. A total of 20-40 weeks of listening is required.
JoEE (TM):
The JoEE (TM) requires 80 minutes a day. The listening can be broken into four 20-minute sessions, two 40-minute sessions or a full 80 minute session. The JoEE (TM) has a library of 24 days (each containing 4 songs) Two 3-week breaks are taken after days 12 and 19 for assimilation. Then the program starts back up with days 20-24. A break of at least a month is required after the initial 24 day program to allow for further assimilation. The program takes the listener from full spectrum to filtering (removal) of high, mid and low frequencies and then changes direction and de-filters the music adding the frequencies back in until full spectrum sound is reached. The program can then be repeated in its entirety or certain frequencies can be targeted to work specific areas of concern (i.e.: speech and language frequencies).
